Pickling
Pickling is the chemical treatment of the surface of stainless steel. It is used to remove the oxide layers that remain after welding and other ferrite impurities that are transferred to the product during the manufacturing process. This increases the corrosion resistance of stainless products.
Passivation
Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion because its surface is covered with a very thin layer oxide, which can break or get damaged or during welding, grinding, processing.
The passivation agent accelerates the chemical formation of the oxide layer.
We can perform pickling and passivation on products dimensions up to 1.2x1.0x0.9 m.
